The year 2015 is fast approaching. Inspired by articles in this writers’  guidebook that I’m reading, I’m treating myself to a fresh start in social media—a new website with a new blog—thanks to my friend Virginia Farrington of http://simplewebsiteservice.com.

So what are the benefits of beginning anew? Energy. Possibility. Joy. Relief. Letting go. Gratitude. Receptivity. Eagerness. New ideas. Clarified intention. Refined skills. Hope. A wider perspective. A new view. Change. Transformation. Openness. Miracles….

Not a bad list, for starters.

“I have always been delighted at the prospect of a new day, a fresh try, one more start, with perhaps a bit of magic waiting somewhere behind the morning,” said J. B. Priestly, a British playwright, novelist, and discerning reader.

Me, too! I love arising early and working for two hours at a project before breakfast. I don’t always do that, but when I do, I always love it.

Then there’s this by Meister Eckhart: “Be willing to be a beginner every single morning.” To me that means to welcome and to generate, daily, the experience of enthusiasm and expansion and willingness. Yep, that’s my intention, too.
